Cleanse, Restore, Renew - A New Year Workshop for a Fresh Start to 2018

Kickstart your new year by letting go of the excesses of the festive season, and start afresh, with a focus on health, well-being and self-care as your highest priority for the year ahead.

We'll be focusing on the yogic theme of Saucha (to cleanse / purify in body and mind) and Sankalpa (intention) through breath-focused yoga postures, cleansing practices (kriya), breathing practices (pranayama) , journalling, meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation)

You'll be guided through a slow flowing yoga practice led by the breath, with a focus on twists, to help boost the body's natural detoxification. You'll also practice breath-focused kriya (cleansing practices) and pranayama (breathing exercises to boost and balance the life force energy/vitality) to bring clarity and calmness to the mind. This will lead us perfectly into journally before a seated mindfulness meditation, followed by Yoga Nidra (extended guided deep relaxation)  We'll also take time to work on our personal Sankalpa (Intention) for the year ahead.

Finish with a warming cup of detox tea and handmade healthy vegan gluten-free treats
