Kickstart your new year by letting go of the excesses of the festive season, and start afresh, with a focus on health, well-being and self-care as your highest priority for the year ahead.
This retreat day will be focus on the yogic theme of Saucha (to cleanse / purify in body and mind) and Sankalpa (intention) through breath-focused yoga postures, cleansing practices (kriya), breathing practices (pranayama) , journalling, meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation) to cleanse, restore and renew in body, mind and spirit
For the morning practice you'll enjoy a slow flowing movement practice led by the breath, with a focus on twists and folds, to help boost the body's natural detoxification and Kriyas (cleansing practices) to cleanse the inner body and clear the mind.
A delicious organic plant-based nutritious lunch will fuel you for a relaxing restorative afternoon of pranayama (breathing exercises to boost and balance the life force energy/vitality and bring clarity and calmness to the mind) This will lead perfectly into a seated meditation, followed by Yoga Nidra, a very deep form of relaxation, or what the yogis called Enlightened Sleep
We'll also take time during the afternoon to work on a personal Sankalpa (Intention) for the year ahead.
Finish with a warming cup of detox / cleanse organic tea and handmade healthy vegan gluten-free treats to round off a fantastic day of self care to set you up for 2019
Investment: £65 includes lunch and refreshments
