Raw Chocolate Chewy Bliss Balls

I love Bliss Balls, they're so quick and easy to make, and mean I always have a sweet healthy treat on hand so I'm not tempted towards more junky alternatives. These morsels of delight are chocolatey, chewy and delicious...its hard to believe they are so healthy.  Raw, vegan, gluten free and free of processed sugars, these would make fantastic Christmas party treats, and no-one will ever believe that they're good for them!

Packed full of protein, healthy fats, antioxidants, slow-release carbs, vitamins and minerals. A great treat anytime, and fantastic to give you an energy boost during a busy day

Try to use all organic ingredients if possible

1 Cup walnuts (or pecans would be great too)
1/2 cup oats (gluten free if applicable)
1 1/2 cups medjool dates (remove the stones)
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
small pinch of salt and a dash of vanilla extract

Chia Seeds ; Sesame Seeds ; Unsweetened Coconut ; Shelled Hemp Seeds (or anything you choose, get creative)

Blitz the nuts, oats and cacao until like a rough flour. Add the rest and process until sticking together

Roll into balls, toss in the variety of toppings, and pop in the fridge to store. Enjoy
