Raw Chocolate Protein Power Brownies

A quick, healthy and delicious way to get your chocolate craving fix this Easter,  as well as high levels of protein, omega healthy fats, and anti-oxidants.  Raw, gluten free, vegan and free from processed sugar

Excellent balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which promote cardiovascular health

High in GLA, an essential omega-6 fatty acid that has been proven to naturally balance hormones 

The perfect protein, not only containing all 20 amino acids, but also each of the nine essential amino acids that our bodies cannot produce.

*You'll need a food processor for this recipe

 Ingredients

2 cups pitted medjool dates

1 cup shelled hemp seeds

1 cup raw walnuts

One third cup raw cacao

Half teaspoon sea salt / pink himalayan salt (optional)

Method

  • Blitz all the ingredients together in a food processor until it forms a sticky dough.

  • Press into a lined baking tray

  • Place in the freezer for a couple of hours

  • Lift from the pan and cut into whatever size squares you like.

  • Store in the fridge or freezer
